Petra Kempel
As a consultant, trainer and coach, I combine sound business know-how with a deep psychological understanding. I strive to make companies not only strategically sustainable in change processes, but also humanly sustainable. In my work, I place particular emphasis on empathy, clarity and trust. I create spaces in which open communication is encouraged and individual resources can unfold.
I am a qualified psychologist, business economist, professor of business psychology, hypnotherapist and systemic coach. My professional roots lie in the corporate world, where I worked in various HR functions, most recently as CHRO (Chief Human Resources Officer). I have been a professor at the FOM University of Applied Sciences for eight years and work as a freelance consultant. I have not only been working as a coach myself for more than a decade, but also train prospective systemic coaches as a teaching coach. I have been designing and conducting workshops and training courses my entire professional life.
I am a mother of two sons and am passionate about traveling the world. I used to travel wildly and unplanned by bike or with a backpack full of exciting, unforgettable and educational experiences. Nowadays, I travel with my family in a more planned and comfortable way, but still to places that are less developed for tourism. My curiosity, openness and spontaneity really come into their own on these trips. I play tennis in a team (I'm not really good at it, but I really enjoy the community aspect of it) and I love my racing bike. Exercise and nature are very important to me. This is sometimes a challenge on business trips, but where there's a will, there's a spot of nature everywhere.
